As principal of Scoil Chaitríona Cailíní, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website. Scoil Chaitríona Cailini is a senior girls’ school with classes from 2nd to 6th. Our vibrant website serves as a communication tool, as one of many ways in which we interact with our parents, our community and anyone seeking more information about our school.

Scoil Chaitríona Cailíni has played a central educational role in Coolock and its surrounding areas since 1960. We are very proud to be a Mercy Order school and the educational team at Scoil Chaitríona strongly uphold the Mercy ethos. We are dedicated to providing a child-centred approach to teaching and learning that ensures that every child achieves to the best of their ability. We are committed to creating a warm, safe and positive learning environment where staff and pupils promote and model kindness, honesty, justice and compassion.

Scoil Chaitríona Cailíní is committed to nurturing the holistic development of every pupil by supporting their physical, social and emotional needs. We encourage our pupils to be kind, respectful and tolerant.

We warmly welcome your involvement in your child’s educational experience and our school activities. Róisín Conefrey is our Home School Community Liaison teacher and she organises a wide range of activities for parents throughout the school year. We also have a vibrant Parents’ Association, whose wonderful work and commitment is greatly valued and respected. We encourage new parents to join the Parent’s Association as a way of getting more involved in the community of Scoil Chaitríona Cailíní. The educational staff of Scoil Chaitríona Cailíní works in partnership with the Board of Management, our parents and guardians and the wider community to support and optimise the education of each and every child.
